Boryana Rossa, associate professor of art video in the Department of Film and Media Arts, is exhibiting "Madonna of the External Silicone Breast" in "Empowerment," the international feminist exhibition at Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg, Germany, through Jan. 8. The exhibition"brings together diverse feminist approaches and understands these as progressive methods to analyze the societies of the world with the means of art and to show possible ways out of the global crises."

Haudenosaunee Filmmaker Terry Jones ’16 to Screen Film Nov. 9 in Celebration of Native Heritage Month
The Blackstone LaunchPad, in collaboration with the Native Student Program in the Office of Multicultural Affairs, will host College of Visual and Performing Arts film alumnus Terry Jones ’16, Haudenosaunee filmmaker and creative entrepreneur, to screen his most recent short film “Savage/Future” and share his creative process and journey. M.F.A. Design Student Takes on a Graduate Degree and Creating Design Led No Code
Kai Patricio G'23, an M.F.A. in design student in the College of Visual and Performing Arts' School of Design, began Design Led No Code, an intersection of UX research/design and no-code tools to create human-centered user experiences that drive innovation. He organized a Hackathon event in September that allowed students and individuals around the Syracuse community to apply their knowledge and skills to innovate and compete with peers.

Emily Goldstein Nolan, professor of practice of art therapy in the Department of Creative Arts Therapy, co-authored the chapter “Peace building and systemic change for survivors of sexual violence and exploitation: LOTUS's Untold Stories” in “Restorative Justice: Promoting Peace and Wellbeing” (Springer). The chapter presents the Untold Stories Program, an integrated justice and creative arts program designed to empower and support survivors of sexual violence and exploitation while advocating for necessary change in the justice system.

Her session is titled "Do You See Me?: Repertoire and Choral Rehearsal Techniques That Foster Belonging."
