Rachel Lauren Ackerman

Rachel is a Jewish and queer theater artist located primarily in New York City.

(She/They) are a soon to be graduate of the stage management program at Syracuse University. Rachel spent their final semester of college at the prestigious Tepper Semester, where they studied directing under Bixby Elliot, Julie Kramer, Jonathan Silverstein, Michelle Bossy, and Andrew Leynse. She also had the opportunity to work with artists such as Lee Sunday Evans, Heather Christian, and Mark Brokaw.

Before moving to the city Rachel worked at The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, New York Stage and Film, as well as Syracuse Stage.

In the rare moment she isn’t working you can find her baking kugel, hiking, writing, or listening to Alt Nation on Sirius Xm with their father.
