Jackson Norman (he/him) is a soon-to-be New York City-based Production Manager, Stage Manager, and Producer.
Jack is a graduating BFA Stage Management major at Syracuse University from Westport, Connecticut. In Westport, while still in high school Jack was the Stage Manager for the high school’s award-winning theatre program Staples Players and sat on the board of the local student run non-profit organization, The Teen Awareness Group.
At the Syracuse University Department of Drama, Jack’s stage management credits include Stage Manager, On the Lake (mainstage), Assistant Stage Manager, Crazy For you (mainstage), Stage Manager, The Children’s Hour (studio), Stage Manager, Venus in Fur (Independent Project), and Stage Management Intern, Beauty and The Beast (Co-Production). Jack has also interned with Syracuse Stage on two Cold Read Festivals. Jack also was recently selected to participate in the 2020 Aaron Sorkin Las Angeles Symposium.
In addition, Jack has served as the Front of House Intern at Syracuse Stage for the past two seasons and as the Usher Coordinator for the Department of Drama.
Jack’s professional credits include Stage Manager, James and the Giant Peach (Summer Theatre of New Cannan), Production Assistant, Kiss Me, Kate (Summer Theatre of New Cannan), and Jury Liaison (20th Tribeca Film Festival).
Jack is currently serving in his final weeks as Production Manager for The Black Box Players and is wrapping up an internship in the Production Office at Syracuse Stage.
Jack is truly thankful for his time at the SU Department of Drama and the training, guidance, and support that has turned him into the theatre artist he is today.
