Having spent her whole life in the theater, Wallis has devoted much of her time and education to pushing the field forward and cultivating the many necessary skills to succeed in the theater industry. Through internships and various hands-on experiences, Wallis received a multi-faceted theatrical education as a graduating senior in the theater management program at Syracuse University. During her time at Syracuse, Wallis held five positions in the Department of Drama: assistant stage manager on Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing, assistant director to a faculty director on Geoffrey Naufft’s Next Fall, casting associate for department-wide and Syracuse Stage auditions, financial director for a student-lead producing organization, and intern in the Education and Community Engagement office at Syracuse Stage.
Additionally, Wallis served as the summer 2019 marketing and social media apprentice at Theatre Aspen. She worked in a fast-paced environment where she practiced effective time management and organization by balancing multiple projects and meeting all deadlines. Wallis has ample experience working with a diverse population of students from all over the world with differing abilities, faculty, and professional staff at various theater organizations. She defines herself as a hard worker with a positive, can-do attitude, and always look for ways to impact the group at the highest level.
