Visiting campus, especially when classes are in session, is the best way to learn about Syracuse University and the College of Visual and Performing Arts. We’re happy to help plan your visit.

You can experience first hand the vibrancy and energy of the University when you walk across the Quad to the Shaffer Art Building, down the hill to the Regent Theater Complex, or into Crouse College’s Setnor Auditorium with current students during a typical day of classes (you can even schedule a music lesson). You will have the opportunity to speak with current students and get a real sense of what it’s like to be part of VPA and the campus community. You can also meet with us at one of our many off-campus events, including National Portfolio Days, auditions, college fairs, and high school visits. Some of the dates and locations listed below also give you the opportunity to have a portfolio review or audition.

In addition to these opportunities, Syracuse University’s Office of Admissions offers many more ways to visit and explore campus.
