Setnor School of Music Menu

Hands-on and industry facing, the Bandier music business master’s program gives you the skills, experiences and network you need to build your dream career in the music business.

Offered in partnership with Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and launching in Fall 2025, the multidisciplinary master of science (M.S.) program combines the study of the business of music, media, marketing and entrepreneurship with hands-on experiences to prepare you for a successful career in the music industry. The 42-credit, 18-month curriculum includes two semesters in Syracuse; a summer and semester at the Syracuse University Dick Clark Los Angeles Program, the College of Visual and Performing Arts and Newhouse School’s Los Angeles home; and two internships.

This master’s program is designed for those new to the music business field. You don’t need to be a musician, have a background in music, or prior studies in the subject to apply.
