Andi Voigt
Andi Voigt is a lover of the arts and currently based in New York City. She hails from Duluth, Minnesota, and upon graduating from Syracuse University with a B.F.A. in stage management will be returning to reconnect with nature as head counselor at her childhood summer camp.
While at Syracuse University, Andi was a stage manager, assistant stage manager, production assistant, assistant director, and stage management intern. At the Tepper Semester, Andi was lucky to be the stage management intern and the audience services intern at the York Theatre Company.
Andi is extremely interested in the music industry, which is why she was the lighting intern at the Westcott Theater, a music venue in Syracuse, for over a year (pre-pandemic). While there she busked lights for opening acts and smaller headliners, assisted with load ins/outs, and assisted visiting artists with various tasks as needed, all while learning as much as she could about life on the road from the touring artists. Upon returning to New York in the fall, Andi hopes to get more involved in the music scene here by working at a venue and eventually be tour manager for a small band she cares deeply about.
In the next five years, Andi hopes to be traveling the world and gaining as many new experiences as possible, while forming meaningful connections with the people who cross her path.
