Richard Koons is a professional actor, singer and teacher and has performed extensively throughout the United States and Europe in operas and musicals.

Most recently he toured the United States playing the role of Squelch in the First National Tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical Love Never Dies (Sequel to Phantom of the Opera).

As an educator, Mr. Koons has been teaching privately in the NYC area for 20 years and his students can be seen (and heard) performing all over the world. He has been a guest lecturer and performer at several Universities including: Iowa State University, Manchester University and Ball State University.

Performance highlights include but are not limited to: National and International tours of Squelch in Love Never Dies, Maestro in Phantom of the Opera, Henry Etches in Titanic the Musical, and Christmas Present in A Christmas Carol.
