Petrina Jackson is an instructor in the School of Design specializing in museum studies and director of Syracuse University's Special Collections Research Center (SCRC).

As director of SCRC at Syracuse University Libraries, Jackson oversees the Belfer Audio Laboratory and Archive, University Archives, all curated collections, and SoundBeat/Access Audio. She came to the Libraries from Iowa State University, where she was head of Special Collections and University Archives. Prior to that, she served as the head of instruction and outreach at the University of Virginia’s Albert and Shirley Small Special Collections Library and senior assistant archivist for the Division of Rare and Manuscript Collections at Cornell University.
