Moju is a Syracuse University communication and rhetorical studies alumna and launched Jikoni — one-part creative studio, one-part community-based food site and educational platform. Jikoni has partnered with Refinery29 and Netflix and hosted a number of specialty events such as the popular “Cooking for the African Diaspora” series. With Jikoni, Moju aims to create a space to learn about culture through the lens of food. Currently she is in Kenya as she will be opening another branch in Kenya this May. She is in addition published around global food media criticism and scholarship.
