National Portfolio Day

We invite you to attend a National Portfolio Day event hosted by Syracuse University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts on Sunday, November 3, 2024! *

Register to Attend

Advanced registration is recommended but not required. Students, parents, and teachers are invited to attend.

Meet one-on-one with representatives of accredited colleges and universities and receive valuable feedback and guidance on your artwork prior to submitting your application. Ask questions, learn about different schools, and explore options for majors. Meet with as many representatives as possible to learn what you need to prepare for each school’s application. 

Admissions decisions and scholarship awards will not be offered at a National Portfolio Day event.

9:30 a.m.
Check-in and same day registration begins. Register in advance for a faster check-in. 

9:30-10:45 a.m.
Walking tours of Syracuse University's campus. Tours depart from the Schine Student Center every 10 minutes and will last 30-40 minutes.

Noon – 4 p.m.
Doors open, and portfolio reviews begin in Goldstein Auditorium.
Each institution will have its own line. Reviews are given on a first-come, first-served basis. To see multiple schools, you will wait in multiple lines.

Representative check-in will begin at 10:30 a.m. in Schine Student Center. 

If you would like to send materials for our November 3 event, please ship them to arrive between October 7 and October 28.
