Ryan Tabrizi’s research explores the intersections of race, gender, and posthumanism using critical rhetorical methods.

Tabrizi has published work in Review of Communication and was selected to present papers at conferences of the National Communication Association, Rhetoric Society of America, and Southern States Communication Association.

Tabrizi has received top student paper awards from the Religious Communication Association and Southern States Communication Association; the top paper award from the International Organization of Social Sciences and Behavioral Research; and the Outstanding Research Award in Communication Arts from Valdosta State University. Professional affiliations include the National Communication Association, Rhetoric Society of America, and Southern States Communication Association.
