Rebecca Schuetz is the assistant technical director at Syracuse Stage, Central New York’s premier professional theater and the professional theater in residence at Syracuse University. As such, she acts as the technical director for the Department of Drama, as well as teaching courses in stagecraft.

Before joining Syracuse Stage in 2010, she was the technical director at The Public Theatre in Lewiston, Maine, as well as for the Theater at Monmouth (Maine) and Dorset Theatre Festival (Vermont). Rebecca earned undergraduate degrees in Design/Technical Theatre and Applied Mathematics from the University of Connecticut, and a Master’s degree in Technical Production from Pennsylvania State University. She is a member of USITT and an ETCP-certified theatrical rigger.
