As VPA's assistant dean for advancement, Mike Grannis leads the college's advancement team.

Grannis has worked at Syracuse University in multiple fundraising roles since 2016, most recently as director of gift planning for the University. He returns to the VPA advancement office after serving as the college's associate director of development and assistant director of development and alumni relations from 2017 until the spring of 2022. During this time, he increased the number of available scholarships, secured additional funding for the academic and career services departments, and established the VPA Young Alumni Council and VPA Mentoring Network.

Before coming to Syracuse University, Grannis was the director of communications and advancement for Mizzentop Day School, an independent day school in New York’s Hudson Valley.
