She is a director of education and development with Building Company Theater, a Syracuse local collective that researches and develops new ways of making theater and presents original works of theater with a critical eye towards accepted social mores.
Osborne was the director of education and operations for Breadcrumbs Productions, where she launched the LAB Series, a successful education program focusing on directing and playwriting intensives and the development of new works. She was a participant of a directing program for two years at the Looking Glass Theatre in New York City, where her original works, “Chasing Pavement” and “Grimm Cinderella,” premiered and were the recipient of awards, including Best Overall Play, Best Design Elements, and Audience Favorite. Osborne taught a long-form improv intensive at Adelphi University, leading to the season production of “Fat Penguin.” Other select directing credits include “Come Out, Come Out Cabaret” (Breadcrumbs Productions), “No Exit” (Building Company Theater, Rochester Fringe Festival), and “Destiny, USA” (Ottawa Fringe Festival, Spark Festival, Cincinnati Fringe Festival, Toronto Fringe Festival).
With CirqOvation, Osborne works as a character artist and clown at many venues, including the Rosamond Gifford Zoo, the Marriott Rochester, and Turning Stone Resort Casino. For the past four years, she also has been CirqOvation's production manager for Symphoria “Nutcracker Twist” at the Landmark Theatre. Other select performance credits include “Ageless” (Olivia, Four Walls Theatre Company), “Melville'd” (Susanna, AAPG), and “Midsummer Night’s Dream” (Titania, Long Island Shakespeare Festival).
Osborne was a member of many improv and skit companies at the Peoples Improv Theater, Gene Frankel Theatre, Sage Theater, and Comix, all in New York City. She also participated multiple times in the Del Close Marathon and was a member of the Manhattan Comedy Collective.
Osborne is also an accomplished and award nominated voice-over artist who appears as Elder One in “IntraQuest,” Timms in “Windfall,” and Clara in “Forgive Me!”
