Kathryn M. Miranda teaches Alexander Technique classes at VPA’s Setnor School of Music and Onondaga Community College and often guest teaches at VPA’s Department of Drama.

She specializes in helping performers use the technique to deal with postural stress and performance anxiety while improving breathing coordination and movement choices.

Trained in New York City, Miranda taught at Mannes College of Music and the New School University. In 2005, she opened Alexander Technique of Syracuse, a teaching studio for private students, teacher training, and teacher refresher courses.
