Jared leClaire is a performance artist and sculptor currently working in upstate New York.

His practice revolves around the tender and grievous nature of mortality, expressing the complex relationship between life and death through ephemeral happenings. LeClaire’s ephemeral works have been shown at the Minneapolis Institute of Art, Ki Smith Gallery in New York City and The Lofts in Los Angeles. Among his time showing, he has completed residencies at Governors Island in 2023 and Los Angeles in 2022.
