By regularly maintaining the equipment in the shops, conducting safety authorizations to communicate hazards, and prioritizing assisting students who wish to grow their skills, they support students through the fabrication aspects of the academic art curriculum.

They hold an M.F.A. in sculpture and extended media from Virginia Commonwealth University and a B.F.A. in sculpture from the Rhode Island School of Design.
