Syracuse University, Clayscapes Pottery and the Interreligious Food Consortium (IFC) are hosting an Empty Bowls fundraiser on Friday, Sept. 28, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Nancy Cantor Warehouse, 350 W. Fayette St., Syracuse.
In return for a $20 donation, an individual may choose any one of hundreds of handcrafted ceramic bowls to keep and also enjoy a tasty meal of soup and bread from these participating restaurants: Alto Cinco, Attilio’s, Brickhouse Café, Dinosaur Bar B Que, Gardenview Diner, Grimaldi’s Luna Park, Kitty Hoynes Irish Pub and Restaurant, The Mission Restaurant, Pastabilities, Riley’s, Santangelo, Soup R Salads, Sky Armory and Strong Hearts.
Proceeds benefit IFC, which helps food pantries across Onondaga County help feed those in need.
