Hi! My name is Poe James Porter. I’m a communication and rhetorical studies major with a minor in theater and creative writing. I grew up in Syracuse and knew since I was three years old that I was going to SU. VPA has so many opportunities unlike the other programs at SU. I was able to easily declare my theater minor, while if I was in a different program, the application process would be a lot different.

My favorite thing about living in Syracuse is how close everything is. Everything is in walking distance, so even though I have my car, I still choose to walk because of how beautiful campus looks.
