Taro Takizawa is a visual artist who recently graduated from the College of Visual and Performing Arts as a printmaking M.F.A. candidate. He focuses on printmaking, vinyl installations, painting, drawing and ceramics.

Takizawa was born and raised in Japan. He received a B.F.A. in 2-D with an emphasis in printmaking from Central Michigan University. Recently he has been showing his works in variety of locations, including the Point of Contact Gallery and Apostrophe’S in Syracuse; Fowler-Kellogg Art Center, Chautauqua, New York; CK Zamek, Poznan, Poland; UP Gallery, Berlin, Germany; YoonSpace, Los Angeles; Living Arts of Tulsa, Tulsa, Oklahoma; Lesley University Art Gallery, Cambridge, Massachusetts; and Grand Rapids Public Museum, Grand Rapids, Michigan.
