Jacob Carll is a faculty fellow and visiting artist in the Department of Drama.

Carll previously served as an assistant professor of musical theater and staff music director at SUNY Cortland from 2017-2022. He also served as resident music director at Cortland Repertory Theatre (2020-21) and the Redhouse Arts Center in Syracuse (2016-17).

Carll’s previous credits include “Elf, The Musical” (associate conductor, national tour), “Footloose” (The Rev), “Side By Side By Sondheim” (Northern Stage), “Spamalot” (Northern Stage), “Guys and Dolls” (Sharon Playhouse), “South Pacific” (Cape Playhouse) and “West Side Story” (White Plains Performing Arts Center).

Carll holds an M.M. in vocal performance from New York University and a B.M. in vocal performance from SUNY Potsdam.
