Artist Statement

In my artistic practice, I navigate the intricate interplay between societal contexts and the singular experiences of individuals, particularly underlining the reshaping effects of phenomena like the pandemic on personal narratives. My focus gravitates towards the perplexities encountered by the younger generation within the realms of romance and intimacy, emphasizing feminist discourses.

By weaving together narrative threads with meticulously observed details of daily life, my work endeavors to extend the relationship between visuality and imagery, aiming to dissolve the traditional boundaries separating painting, exhibition, still photography, literature, and film. This approach not only seeks to challenge and expand the viewer's perceptual boundaries but also to create a multidisciplinary dialogue that enriches the discourse on human connections and societal reflections. Through this fusion, I aspire to explore the depths of human emotion and societal dynamics, offering a reflective lens on the complexities of contemporary life.
