Artist Statement

My comics narrate a tale of love and growth, delving deep into the intricacies of Chinese mother-daughter dynamics. They illuminate how maternal care can sometimes obscure the daughter's unspoken challenges. Amidst the gentle embrace of maternal love and the pursuit of personal dreams, daughters often find themselves at a crossroads. It is through the tender acknowledgment of the daughter's emotional journey that mothers and daughters discover harmony within their bond.

My experiences, born and raised in China, afford me a unique cultural background and perspective, enabling me to vividly depict the rich tapestry of Chinese culture and society. The female figures and urban life in my works reflect my keen observations and understanding of contemporary life. Through my distinctive style and themes, I aim to showcase not only my artistic prowess but also convey unique insights into life and culture.
