Artist Statement

Since childhood, I have had an obsessive curiosity about life's purpose, continually seeking my spiritual home through diverse avenues. Along the way, I've realized this quest is universal, as people crave meaning and purpose to assuage the anxiety inherent in life's impermanence.

Rooted in my personal journey, I created a picture book narrating a bird’s lifelong odyssey in search of her spiritual home. Questioning conventional pursuits of status, wealth, and love, she ultimately realizes that the relentless flying and pursuit itself is her true home.

This story mirrors my own exploration, where I've discovered that the essence of life lies not in reaching a particular destination, but in embracing the richness of each moment of our existence. Life, I've learned, is inherently meaningful, and our journey — marked by growth, introspection, and the pursuit of passion — is what truly defines our spiritual home.
