Artist Statement

I've been pondering the subtle forms of inherent bias, discrimination, and inequality, which are often ignored and unresolved. Even some affected groups don't see them as inequality issues. After obtaining a BA in Museum Studies, I noticed ethnic minorities don't visit history museums, thinking it's natural. They don't realize their low representation is a problem due to inherent thinking. Perhaps collections lack minority representation or are too far removed from their lives. But what they don't know can't catch their attention. So, I believe in the power of design to bring attention and spark thinking, improve accessibility, and create better user experiences for a more inclusive and equal society. This is my lifelong pursuit.
