Biography

Trent Welstead produces short films which principally explore transgressions of the meandering young adult character set against varied backdrops of isolation. His methods include opportunistic low-budget production and servant leadership approaches to effectuate scalable collaborations with limited resources. An award-winning creator, Trent’s work has screened at over 100 unique festivals and showcases domestically and in eleven international territories. When he’s not immersed in his own projects, Trent is an adaptive learner; he intends to pursue a career in entertainment law to the aim of trendspotting how evolving technologies will continue to influence the creator economy and distribution landscape.
