My deepest passion comes from combining words and images to reconstruct the material world within the spiritual world to reflect the conflicts, contradictions, and desires within people. Mirage is also that kind of a story: a piece of childhood memory, about a boy locked up in his home, and a mysterious visitor who comes uninvited. The story is about a possibility, that perhaps it is not the turbulent world that disturbs our hearts, but our fears and desires that change the shape of the world we see.

Yuru Zheng is an illustrator, and story writer. She is working on building bridges between words and images. And her work ranges from comic drawing, scriptwriting, character design, etc.
