Xuan Liu

Xuan Liu (b. 1997 China) works conceptually through social engagement actions and performances, which offer places for her to examine strategies of dealing with real-life struggles. Expanding practices beyond the safe confines of the studio and right into the complexity of the unpredictable public sphere empowers both her practice and her subjects. Her works have been exhibited internationally in New York, Paris, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai, etc.
