Muge Li

I focus on children’s picture books including illustration and storytelling. Imagination has an important role in childhood. It is a creative ability that can help children confront and solve problems in their life. Children’s picture books are a connection between children and their parents. Children can find related experiences in books, and they can have a conversation with their parents. I made up a story about a girl who doesn’t want to go to sleep, so she asks her mom many questions about what is happening at night. This child uses her imagination to avoid going to bed.

Muge Li is a current illustration MFA student at Syracuse University. Muge likes digital drawing with textures. She focuses on drawing children’s picture books and making up her own stories. She also focuses on packaging design and editorial illustration. Muge wants to bring cheerfulness and joy to people’s lives.
