Technology grants us the ability to document any experience in our daily lives and save it to external storage systems outside of our memories. Whether we are conscious of it or not, our personal recorded history creates an alternative persona of ourselves that lives exclusively in digital format. This leads to situations in which we curate our behavior in the present in an effort to affect the way in which we reflect on ourselves from the future. In doing so we are altering the ways in which our memories are being formed. My work visualizes the experience of a memory being externalized and altered.
