Jae Bin is a senior majoring in Environmental + Interior Design (EDI) and minoring in Architecture, and Information Technology, Design, and Startups (IDS).

Jae is a proud global ambassador – he studied abroad in Florence in Summer of 2022, and London in Spring 2023.
In addition, Jae is also a Peer Mentor for the Design Living Learning Community, supporting 1st year student’s academic needs.

Jae has also won the SOURCE grant, through the Syracuse Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Engagement – he is currently researching architectural design impacts to the post pandemic workspace. He is leading a team of 2 other VPA Students, and one Architecture student.

In all of his work, Jae seeks the intersection of culture, design, and sustainability as a committed designer with experience in graphic, architectural, Interior, and UI / UX design. Despite all these fields of design seem to be very different, Jae thinks that a dimensional understanding connects these distinct areas and that they can all be used in harmony to create wonderful and smooth experiences.
