Alana Barker

Alana Eden Barker is a New York City-based stage manager from West Simsbury, Connecticut.

Alana is a soon-to-be graduate of Syracuse University, where she has earned a B.F.A. in stage management and minor in public communication studies. Alana is making her Off-Broadway debut as the production stage manager for The Office! A Musical Parody after graduation and is looking forward to beginning her career in New York City. This fall, you can catch her setting sail with Virgin Voyages as a production stage manager on their newest fleet of cruise ships.

This week proved to be very successful, and Abby now plans to move and begin a career in Los Angeles in the fall.

In her final semester at the Tepper program in New York City, she had the opportunity to intern with Visceral Productions on their new off-Broadway show, ¡Americano!.

Currently, Abby works as a baking class teacher at the nationally recognized bakery Milk Bar. She fills her spare time doing intricate nail art for her Instagram page, screaming her heart out at concerts, or binge-watching every show created by J.J. Abrams.

Andi Voigt

Andi Voigt is a lover of the arts and currently based in New York City. She hails from Duluth, Minnesota, and upon graduating from Syracuse University with a B.F.A. in stage management will be returning to reconnect with nature as head counselor at her childhood summer camp.

While at Syracuse University, Andi was a stage manager, assistant stage manager, production assistant, assistant director, and stage management intern. At the Tepper Semester, Andi was lucky to be the stage management intern and the audience services intern at the York Theatre Company.

Andi is extremely interested in the music industry, which is why she was the lighting intern at the Westcott Theater, a music venue in Syracuse, for over a year (pre-pandemic). While there she busked lights for opening acts and smaller headliners, assisted with load ins/outs, and assisted visiting artists with various tasks as needed, all while learning as much as she could about life on the road from the touring artists. Upon returning to New York in the fall, Andi hopes to get more involved in the music scene here by working at a venue and eventually be tour manager for a small band she cares deeply about.

In the next five years, Andi hopes to be traveling the world and gaining as many new experiences as possible, while forming meaningful connections with the people who cross her path.
