I was born and raised in San Juan Puerto Rico an island that is 100 x 35 miles long and is surrounded by some of the best surf in the world. I have always been intrigued by high risk actions sports and how people risk their lives to achieve incredible feats. Through my thesis I have explored how to improve action sports equipment (big wave surfing in particular) and hopefully eliminate all the life-threatening dangers that come with the sport.
