The College of Visual and Performing Arts celebrated the Class of 2015 with a convocation ceremony on Saturday, May 9, in the Carrier Dome during Syracuse University’s Commencement Weekend.

Music industry visionary Jon Cohen ’90 delivered the convocation address to bachelor’s and master’s degree candidates. Cohen is co-CEO of Cornerstone, an award-winning global creative agency; co-founder of the FADER Inc., an award-winning music, style and culture publication and music media platform; and co-founder of FADER Label.

Alexa Aron ’15, an acting major in the Department of Drama, delivered the student address. Morgan Mills ’15, a music industry major in the Setnor School of Music, and Tyler Poyant ‘15, an illustration major in the School of Art, served as SU:VPA’s class marshals at the convocation and SU’s Commencement ceremony.
