The Bandier Program recently welcomed back program founder and SU Trustee Martin Bandier ’62, chairman and CEO of Sony/ATV; John Sykes ’77, president of iHeartMedia Entertainment Enterprises; and Tom Poleman, president of national performing platforms for iHeartMedia. The three music industry executives spoke as part of the program's Soyars Leadership Lecture Series and focused on the future of radio and its relationship to music discovery and promotion. Much of the discussion related to iHeartRadio's digital and live platforms as well as Martin Bandier's view on global music promotion. After the lecture the guest speakers spoke with students; Martin Bandier also took time throughout the day to meet each Bandier student individually as well as speak to them as a group by class.

Students in the program take great pride in carrying the Bandier brand. They were genuinely excited to spend time with the industry icon who made their prestigious curriculum possible.
