On Saturday, May 13, the College of Visual and Performing Arts’ (VPA) administration, faculty, and staff gathered to congratulate its 575 bachelor’s and master’s degree candidates in the Carrier Dome. Family and friends joined in the celebration.

Dean Michael S. Tick presided over the convocation and addressed the graduates. The evening also included remarks by Syracuse University Vice Chancellor and Provost Michele G. Wheatly; keynote speaker Evin Floyd Robinson ’12 G’14, a graduate of the Department of Communication and Rhetorical Studies and co-founder of New York On Tech; and Emma Ettinger, a stage management major in the Department of Drama, who was also named a University and VPA Scholar.
