VPA Academic Interest Presentations

Area presentations on the College of Visual and Performing Arts will be held on the following dates. Information about the Department of Communication and Rhetorical Studies, Department of Drama, School of Art and Design, Setnor School of Music, the application process, and the audition or portfolio requirements will be discussed.

Drama

Regional auditions and portfolio reviews

At the following locations, students applying to acting or musical theater may complete the required audition; students applying to stage management may complete the required portfolio review; students applying to the B.S. in theater management may complete the departmental interview and submit required statement.

Please note: portfolio reviews for students applying to theater design and technology are only available in Los Angeles and New York.
Students applying to theater design and technology may also schedule an in-person portfolio review at any on-campus event or submit online via Slideroom.

Registration is required for all in-person auditions, portfolio reviews, and departmental interviews.

Please remember to bring the required written material described in our portfolio/audition requirements section.

Regional auditions

At the following locations, students applying to the Setnor School of Music may complete the required audition.

All auditions are performed unaccompanied, with the exception of vocal auditions. An accompanist will be provided for vocal applicants.

We regret that regional auditions are not available for percussion or organ applicants.
Also, please note that piano auditions are not available at Greenberg House or Lubin House.

Please review the portfolio requirements and information about submission before arriving for a portfolio review.
