Class of 2016 (Fifth Year)
I am from Baltimore, Maryland, and chose to attend to Syracuse for their excellent design program and everything else that the University has to offer. At Syracuse, I have had the opportunity to take top-notch design classes, expand my skill set by taking a variety of studio electives, and pursue my academic interests in my management classes for my entrepreneurship and emerging enterprises minor. I spent last semester abroad at SU's London campus, where I took classes with professors from around the world and traveled to Ireland, Spain, and the Netherlands. Currently, I am working on my industrial and interaction design thesis project about medication adherence in patients with chronic illnesses. I enjoy working in the strategy, research, and human factors side of the design process and spent this past summer interning at the National Center for Human Factors in Healthcare in Washington, D.C. In my free time, I enjoy baking, swimming, traveling, and spending time with my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
