The VPA School of Art offers master of fine arts (M.F.A.) degree programs in illustration and studio arts, as well as a master of science (M.S.) degree program in arts education.

As a graduate student in VPA, you will have opportunities for a variety of support and funding, including Creative Opportunity Grants. These awards can help students take advantage of unique opportunities that will benefit their academic and artistic work and enhance their career development. Students can also apply for grants from the Graduate Student Organization.

Interested in traveling? Students in VPA have opportunities to take courses based in other U.S. cities through our Maymester and Spring Break classes. Additionally, students conduct research or travel in cities around the world through Creative Opportunity Grant funding. Finally, some programs sponsor travel to specific locations.
