Crouse College, Syracuse University is most easily reached from I-81. New York State Thruway travelers should take Thruway exit 36 (I-81) and proceed south. Both northbound and southbound travelers on I-81 should exit at Adams Street (exit 18). After you take the exit:

Proceed one block up the Adams Street hill to Irving Avenue.

Turn right onto Irving Avenue and continue through the two traffic lights.

At the end of Irving Avenue, by the Carrier Dome, turn right onto E. Raynor Avenue. Proceed one block then turn right onto Stadium Place.

Turn right into Irving Garage (the first parking garage entrance). Look for the Syracuse University sign on the guard booth as an indication you are in the correct place. Please park on the fourth or fifth level of Irving Garage to be closer to the pedestrian bridge (located on the fifth floor of Irving Garage) to cross over Irving Avenue.

Walk across the pedestrian bridge, and then follow the walkway to the left (the College of Law will be on your right). Take the stairs up to the College of Law plaza.

As you come out of the plaza, Crouse College and a sidewalk to the entrance will be on your left. (Crouse is a red sandstone Victorian building that resembles a castle.) Take the sidewalk to the entrance and, once inside, take the flight of stairs on your right or left up to Setnor Auditorium, 3rd floor, Crouse College.

The elevator is located down the main hallway, just past the main stairwell and the statue of Winged Victory, turn left at Winged Victory down a short hallway

From the East: NYS Thruway (I-90) to I-481 South (exit 34A) to Route I-690 West to Townsend Street/Downtown. Left on Townsend, eighth right on Genesee, second left on Montgomery, one-half block to Civic Center on the left.

From the West: NYS Thruway (I-90) to I-690 East to I-81 South to Harrison Street. Second right on State Street, one block to Civic Center on the left.

From the North (Airport): I-81 South to Harrison Street. Second right on State Street, one block to Civic Center on the left.

From the South: I-81 North to Adams/Harrison Street. Left on Harrison, second right on State Street, one block to Civic Center on the left.

From I-690 West or Erie Boulevard east or west, proceed south on Geddes Street.

Near the top of the hill, turn left on Bellevue and then right on Roberts Avenue.

Parking is available in the rear parking lot as well as on both sides of Roberts Avenue and adjoining streets. Please be mindful of residents' driveways.

The Everson Museum of Art is located in downtown Syracuse at the corner of Harrison and South State Streets, across from the War Memorial.

From the north and New York State Thruway: From the Thruway take Syracuse Exit 36 to Interstate Route 81 south. Take I-81S to exit 18 (Harrison/Adams). Bear right at the end of the exit onto Harrison Street. The museum is two blocks ahead on the right.

From the south: Take Interstate Route 81 north to exit 18 (Harrison/Adams). Follow signs to Harrison Street and turn left. The museum is two blocks ahead on the right.

From the east: Take Interstate 690 west to the Townsend Street exit. Turn left onto Townsend, go six blocks to Harrison Street. Turn right onto Harrison Street. The museum is on the right.

From the west: Take Interstate 690 east to Interstate 81 south. Immediately exit I-81S at exit 18 (Harrison/Adams). Bear right onto Harrison Street. The museum is two blocks ahead on the right.
