Two members of the Department of Drama faculty were among the winners of the recently announced Syracuse Area Live Theater (SALT) Awards IX, which recognize theatrical productions, actors, directors, and costumers in Central New York:
- Anthony Salatino won Director of the Year (professional theater category) for Rent at Syracuse Stage
- Marie Kemp won Actress of the Year (professional theater category) for The Boys Next Door at Syracuse Stage
Syracuse Stage also won in the professional theater category for Play of the Year (The Miracle Worker) and Actor of the Year (Sean Patrick Fawcett, The Boys Next Door).
