Literacy, Community, and Photography is one tier of the Syracuse University Chancellor Nancy Cantor's Initiative for the University to partner with the Syracuse City School District. Marion Wilson, Director of Community Initiatives in Visual Arts at the College of Visual and Performing Arts oversees and directs the arts partnership and is a liaison between the college, the Chancellor’s office and the Syracuse City School District and directs the model for the arts partnership. The partnership has received funding and continues to receive funding from a variety of sources both on campus and statewide. Specifically LCP receives funding from: The Soling Program
