Many of the dates and locations listed below also give you the opportunity to have a portfolio review, a requirement for students applying to the School of Art and Design. Please refer to our section on Portfolio Requirements to see specific portfolio guidelines.

Fall Receptions
Reservations are required. Fall Receptions are open-house days that include the option of a traditional art or art photography portfolio review; portfolios for art video, computer art, and film will not be viewed. Click here for more information and to register. The fall 2009 dates are:

- A portfolio review, if you wish. This can be a final or an “advise only” review.
General admissions appointments with Syracuse University can be made by calling 315-443-3611.
OFF CAMPUS
Please note that only prospective first-year students may have portfolios reviewed off campus; transfer students must submit their portfolios in person on campus or by mail. Only actual work (no tapes, scripts, CDs or slides) can be seen off campus. Students may show a traditional art or art photography portfolio at these locations; media-specific portfolios for art video, computer art, or film will not be viewed.
