Are you an upperclass student in good academic standing? The Peer Advising Program provides an opportunity for you to meet and assist new students in their transition to college. In the process, you will develop and sharpen your leadership skills.
Peer Advisors are liaisons between the college and its students and serve as an important link between first-year students and the Student Services team. They are resource people.
Advisors are assigned a group of incoming students to connect with over the summer and mentor throughout the coming academic year. If you’re interested and would like to learn more about becoming a peer advisor, stay tuned to "VPA News," the undergraduate student listserv, in the spring semester, when we will post application information.
