Printmaking
The master of fine arts (M.F.A.) degree program in printmaking offers study in relief, intaglio, lithography, silkscreen, letterpress printing, hand papermaking, and book arts.
Our facilities include well-equipped and thoroughly ventilated print studios, including a papermaking workshop, resource lab, and private work spaces for graduate students.
Your studio work is enhanced by the ability to interact with a community of ceramists, fiber artists, metalsmiths, and sculptors, whose facilities are housed in the same building.
In addition to interacting with faculty, fellow student artists, and visiting artists, you are encouraged to explore the benefits and opportunities provided by the University and local community.
The School of Art and Design feels that drawing plays a vital and primary role in the creative life of an artist. Click here to read more about this common thread that weaves through our art and design programs.
