Applicants for graduate study at the Setnor School of Music must have a bachelor's degree from programs compatible with advanced study in music and from a regionally accredited U.S. college or university. If you did not attend a U.S. college or university, you must have a degree or diploma that is equivalent to an American bachelor's degree. The University's Graduate School has specific guidelines for international credentials.

A maximum of 30 percent of the credit counted toward your Syracuse degree may be transferred from another institution, subject to approval from your program and the Graduate School.
