Biography:
His research and teaching interests are in contemporary rhetorical theory and criticism, issues of power, resistance, and dissent. His research appears in such journals as Communication Monographs, Rhetoric Society Quarterly, Philosophy and Rhetoric, and Southern Communication Journal, among others. He is the editor of Framing Public Memory and the author of Framing Controversy: The Rhetoric of Education Reform and Projected Fears: Horror Films in American Culture.
