Guidelines:
RAE-enrolled students must fulfill 65 credits in liberal arts courses by following the guidelines below:
(1) Complete the following general skills requirements (14 credits):
• two semesters (6 credits) of writing studio (WRT 105/205);
• two courses (8 credits) in foreign languages (8 credits);
(2) Complete the following divisional requirements (to fulfill 21-24 academic electives):
• two courses (6 credits) in social sciences;
• two courses (6 credits) in humanities;
• two courses (6-8 credits) in natural sciences and mathematics;
• one course (3 credits) in quantitative skills from the following list: MAT 121,183,221, or STT 101;
• one additional course (if not taking London semester) (3 credits) from any of the three areas listed above.
All courses fulfilling divisional requirements must be from the College of Arts and Sciences’ basic lists.
(social sciences, humanities, and natural sciences/mathematics.)
(3) Complete the following music history/literature requirements (15 credits):
• five courses (15 credits) in music history/theory/literature
(4) Complete the following specific requirements (12-15 credits):
• ECN 203 Economic Ideas and Issues;
• COM 107 Communications and Society;
• CRS 325 Presentational Speaking;
• Any liberal arts course
• TRF 560 or COM 527 or equivalent London offering (only if taking London semester).
All internships are to be pre-approved by the program.
