Deborah Dohne's present work (primarily sculpture) is an inquiry into the realization of the intangible. Recognized as magic, intuition, the surreal, or a power we cannot comprehend, Dohne's work seeks to give physical shape to the ethereal world just beyond tangible comprehension.
Professor Dohne uses steel, wood, motors and neon light to explore atmosphere and the etheral, both as physical phenomena and as subject matter.
Professor Dohne received an BFA in three-dimensional studies from Alfred University and an MFA in sculpture from Ohio State University. |
